Frequently Asked Questions

How do I charter Blue Horizon?

You can book your charter by contacting your travel agent or preferred yacht broker. If you don’t already work with one, contact us and we’ll refer you!

Once you put a hold on your dates with your broker, you'll have time to solidify your plans. At that point, you pay a percentage of your charter cost to secure your booking.

The remainder of your balance will be due prior to setting sail.

How much does chartering Blue Horizon cost?

Pricing varies depending on length of stay, numbers of guests, and time of year. We highly recommend viewing our more detailed sample pricing and contacting your travel agent for available dates/pricing.

What isn't included in the charter pricing?

Blue Horizon charter pricing does not include a standard 15-20% gratuity paid to your crew at the end of the charter. It also does not include any meals off-boat, or the cost of transportation on shore.

Is transportation to and from the yacht included?

We can arrange for your transfers to and from the yacht to ensure a seamless experience from your arrival in the British Virgin Islands to the moment you step aboard Blue Horizon. We can also handle your transportation for any requested day trips on land.

*Note: cost of on-shore transportation is not included in charter pricing.

Once I arrive in the BVI, where is Blue Horizon docked?

Blue horizon sails out of Village Cay Marina in Tortola. Prior to setting sail, you will be in contact with our crew, who ensures you have all the details and directions you need to find your way!

Do we plan our itinerary in advance?

About a month before you set sail, our crew reach out to get all your preferences for food, drink, and day trips! Your time aboard can be a mix of pre-planned activities and on-the-fly excursions, based on weather and what your group feels like doing that day.

What should I pack?
